See the picture of the broken phone? That’s Megan’s. She dropped it from he lift on accident from like 35 feet up and it is pretty broken. Interesting, it still works but the screen is shot and is separated from the phone. She’s since bought a new one though (with her own money).

| We picked up Reika from the Marriott Center at BYU at about 1:00 AM |
| We took Reika on a hike. She always told us she was most excited about seeing nature because in Tokyo there's no nature. |
| Corban taught Reika some origami. |
| Ian and Corban showed Reika some of their awesome piano talents. |
| I think Megan won, but I can't remember what colors they were, so maybe it was Reika. haha! |
| I invited Reika to go on a run with me (and I walk a lot too) and she seemed to enjoy herself but was pretty slow, which so am I so it was great. |
| Reika's favorite friend in the house was Brynlee, for sure. |
| LaVonne visited and we went to the Timpanogos Caves. What a hike! |
| Corban had a plum before heading into the caves. |
| Taking a pic on the fault line inside the caves. |
| Cord and Ian arm wrestling and Cord won. |
| Cord was so sweet to try talking to Reika. She didn't understand much, but this game of sticks said it all. It was fun to see how that game is internationally known. |
| Taking Reika to the ever must-try Pioneer Day 5K Temple to Temple Run. |
| Exploring Sundance with family and Reika |
| She slept all the way home. Whenever we were on a drive of any length, she slept. I wondered if she was faking to avoid talking to us. haha! |
| Megan dropped her phone from the ski lift. We're lucky she ever got it back, even though it was super duper dead. |
| Dinner at Marmee's (downstairs haha) with Hayden and cute pregnant Erin. |
| Megan did a week-long cooking class for the neighborhood kids. |
| LaVonne's last night. Such a great visit! |
| Reika in her traditional clothing about to treat us to a wonderful talent show as expression of their school's gratitude for their host families. |
| Reika gifted me with this fun robe and headband as a gift of gratitude for being her hostess. |
| Their show was spectacular. Some of the talent of those kids are out of this world! |
| She said she likes horseback riding. So we took Reika riding in Park City for an hour. |
| We couldn't have Reika in Utah without seeing the temple. Draper Temple. |
| Reika made our family a traditional Japanese dinner. It was yummy. |
| We took Reika to Deer Lake. It was SO COLD and windy, but we had a lot of fun. |
| Megan showed Reika how to make pizza. |
| We were so glad to have Reika in our home and were sad to see her go. I got a little teary eyed because who knows when we'll ever see her again. |
